Afendi’s Turkish Grill – Grand Opening

Afendi’s Turkish Grill had their grand opening today and are delighted to offer you the finest in Mediterranean food in the North Bay.  Open daily from 10 am to 9 pm, Afendi’s offers wholesome, healthy, fresh and natural ingredients, expertly grilled and baked daily to honor your health and ensure your dining pleasure.  Afendi’s offers a dozen small veggie dishes like hummus, tabouli, kisir, and hadari, to get you started, followed by hearty lamb, beef and chicken kabob favorites, “Adana” kabobs, and falafels. The special Afendi gyros are home made and seasoned with the chef’s signature spices.  Turkish breads and pies are baked fresh daily in a traditional stone lined oven by the owner and chef, Serdar “Joe” Besir.  Mr. Besir, ranked by his patrons as “a great master of “Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine,” and fondly known as “Joe”, has astounded the taste buds of diners in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Germany, New York and Petaluma as a master chef and restaurant owner for 30 years.  The restaurant is located at The Plaza North at 299 N. McDowell Blvd., two doors to the right of CVS pharmacy.  Afendi’s Menu
