The Fabulous Mr. Bimbo is an annual guest

Games! Raffles! Bands! Vendors! And much, much more! Needless to say, we are delighted to host the fifth annual Dia del Nino / Day of the Child at The Plaza North.  Petaluma’s Dia del Nino is one of the largest Spanish language events in Sonoma County and it is happening this Sunday, April 17, from 1-4 pm in the parking lot by Kmart.

This year’s featured entertainer is La Banda de Luis y Sus Estrellas de Tierra Caliente.   Among the many vendors and booths expected, we are also welcoming back Payaso Basurito (the popular and hilarious clown from previous events), Osito Bimbo, and the amazing feats of strength and endurance from the Him Tai Kwon Do School.  Other popular returnees include The Shriners Child ID protection services, and of course Don Pancho’s serving tacos and other authentic Mexican favorites.

This year’s raffle will feature a laptop computer, bikes and other toys and prizes.

Whether you speak Spanish or not, this is a fun, uplifting event for the entire family.
