The 5th Annual Plazarama Cruise In and benefit for Canine Companions for Independence brought in well over 100 classic cars and several thousand happy spectators. We’d like to thank Cruisin’ North Car Club, Canine Companions for Independence and Jon Provost, and all of the wonderful volunteers and participants. Enjoy the photos!

Plazarama KZST, KJZY & KTRY Live Interview Schedule

We are excited to announce that our special guest Jon Provost will be interviewed on KZST, 100.1 FM. Jon’s interview with Debbie Abrahms will air on both Saturday, the 17th and Sunday, the 18th. It will run on KZST, Sunday at 6:00 am….on KJZY, Saturday at 6:30 am…and KTRY, 106.3 FM on Sunday at 6:30 am. And Jon will be on live with Brent on KZST at 7:40am Tuesday, the 27th. We are excited to announce a special guest at our upcoming Plazarama cruise in on May 1. Jon Provost is beloved as Timmy in the popular TV series “Lassie.” He’s also one of Canine Companions for Independence’s biggest supporters and has proudly served on the NW Regional Board for more than 20 years. Jon will be at Plazarama from 10am-3pm to talk about CCI and to sign and sell his autobiography, photos, memorabilia and meet his many fans. A portion of the proceeds from the Saturday May 1 Plazarama cruise-in will be going to Canine Companions for Independence. Founded in 1975, CCI is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships. Headquartered in Santa Rosa, CA, CCI is the largest non-profit provider of assistance dogs, and is recognized worldwide for the excellence of its dogs, and the quality and longevity of the matches it makes between dogs and people. The result is a life full of increased independence and loving companionship.
